PM says will consider people's suggestions on Budget 2017

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak (pix) said today that he will consider the people's suggestions on Budget 2017.
Out of the 8,352 suggestions submitted to the bajet2017.najibrazak.com website, he said five categories (out of 15 categories) received the most number of suggestions.
The five categories are Employment; Education; Public Transport & Infrastructure; Taxation, Business & Finance; and Housing & Urban Living.
"I will read and examine every one of these suggestions very soon. Thank you to everyone who has contributed," he said in a posting on his official Facebook page today.
The website was opened to the public from Sept 5 till Wednesday (Sept 21), to give an opportunity to the people to make their suggestions on Budget 2017.
Among the other categories are Culture and Tourism; Environment and Agriculture; Public facilities; Social Welfare, Disabled and Disadvantaged People; Youth and Sports; Public Safety and Transparency; Economic Development; Rural Development; Healthcare; and Cost of Living.
Budget 2017 is scheduled to be tabled in Parliament on Oct 21. — Bernama
