Water supply in Petaling, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat, Sepang restored in stages

KUALA LUMPUR: Water supply to consumers in affected areas in the Petaling region, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat and Sepang has been restored in stages since yesterday morning.
Kumpulan Pengurusan Air Selangor corporate communications unit head, Amin Lin Abdullah, said in a statement the supply disruption was due to the closure of the Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant from Sept 22 to 24 due to river pollution.
"The status of the water supply restoration is 97% in Sepang and 92% in Kuala Langat, 72% in Hulu Langat and 63% in Petaling," he said.
