FOR OVER 28 years, Advance Tertiary College (ATC) has been proudly producing lawyers from the very heart of Kuala Lumpur.
The college offers the ideal educational chronology for law students – honing skills from the groundwork with courses ranging, from A-Level with the University of Cambridge, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) External Programme with the University of London, up to the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) with ATC itself.
For the A-Level programme with the University of Cambridge, ATC offers seven subjects to select from, namely – Law, Business Studies, Mathematics, Economics, Thinking Skills, Accounting and English Literature. Prospective students are to select three or four subjects to obtain this A-Level qualification. Thereafter, with two passes from the A-Level examination, the LLB External Programme with the University of London at ATC can be pursued.
With an External Programme for LLB at ATC, anyone can now complete a world-class UK Law Degree within three years locally. In doing the LLB programme, there is a wide variety of fields of laws that students would be exposed to, including Contract Law, Family Law, and European Union law.
“Upon completion of the LLB with the University of London, attaining a Second Class and above, students will then be able to move on to obtain their CLP. This is admittedly one of the most challenging examinations for any law student, but ATC strives to provide the best of the best, it tests your limits, and ensures that you secure the passing mark needed,” said ATC CEO Dr Danny Choong.
