Cosway Asia Convention 2017

COSWAY (M) Sdn Bhd (Cosway) recently organised its first Asia convention at Berjaya Langkawi Resort. The groundbreaking event took place fromApril 9 to 12. It was aimed at honouring and awarding its high achieving members and providing them with opportunities to share their experiences and success stories.
The multi-level marketing (MLM) company played host to a total of 344 delegates from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand at the three-day event which included training sessions and engaging activities, concluding with a black-tie event – the Cosway Awards Night.
COSWAY AWARDS NIGHT
The night of the awards saw the party sit down to a grand dinner, complete with entertaining performances by delegates from respective countries.
There were also lucky draw sessions and the presentation of awards.
A total of 57 delegates from respective regions and market were called on stage and honoured with awards in these categories – Best Store Performance Awards, Best Personal Performance Awards and Elite Members Award.
▶ The Best Store Performance Awards recognised the achievements of store operators over the previous year.
▶ The Best Personal Awards were presented to members who have grown their profits and bonuses.
▶ The Elite Membership Award is an exclusive status and recognition given to members who have displayed outstanding leadership and consistently achieved set annual profits and bonuses.
DEVELOP, EVOLVE AND ADVANCE
During the awards ceremony, guest of honour Tan Sri Vincent Tan delivered a speech. “We know that the world is changing very fast and the future is in the hands of the youth. Their thinking, habits and preferences are shaped by social media in this digital age.
“The youth of today are probably the ones who are most likely to be exposed to Cosway through the internet, mobile phones and other electronic devices,” said Tan, in encouraging all Cosway members to adapt and advance with the times.
Tan also acknowledged Cosway’s progress and development and mentioned about its online malls, sales incentives and membership registration which employs modern-day applications and working procedures and has made its presence on social media.
Tan’s emphasis on the younger generation and moving forward was reinforced with the announcement of Cosway’s new appointment of Liang Sook Sook as its CEO.
She will be assisted by two new executive directors in leading the 38-year-old MLM company. Tan expressed his confidence in Liang and her team in continuing the company’s success and taking it to greater heights.

Cosway Elite Members Club
In his speech, Tan announced the launch of Cosway “Elite Member”, an exclusive title and status awarded to top leaders and achievers for their outstanding leadership and achievements. Elite Members will receive additional financial incentives to support their network. They will also provide feedback and aid in the company’s strategic planning. These will be the elite who will have the privilege to visit manufacturing facilities of Cosway’s supplier products, along with many more exclusive and top-drawer experiences.
