KUALA LUMPUR: When eating out meets discounted rates and effortless reservations, Malaysians should look no further than Eatigo.
Incorporated in Singapore and head quartered in Thailand, the TripAdvisor funded application, recently entered the Malaysian market in March.
The application allows users to make reservations at off-peak hours at restaurants ranging from fast food chains, mid-range to high-end fine dining places at a discounted rate.
Its co-founder and CEO, Michael Cluzel said that the company is looking at both emerging markets as well as more sophisticated markets with an eating out culture and affinity for discount.
He said through this app, the team also creates a win-win situation for both merchants or the restaurants as it enables them to attract customers during non-peak hours while users will be able to enjoy their meals at a discounted rate.
The app was first established in Thailand in 2014, followed by Singapore. Now it is also available in Malaysia and Hong Kong.
