(Video) Dog saves the day

A HEROIC pet in Thailand has proven that dogs really are man's best friend.
In a video that has now gone viral, a family dog miraculously saved the day when he stopped a moving car from knocking down its owner's child.
The clip, believed to be recorded by the dog's owner, shows a toddler happily riding his bicycle on the road while their pet dog sits close by.
Suddenly, a car approaches. Within seconds, the dog leaps in front of the vehicle, blocking the car from moving any further and potentially colliding into the child.
The dog protectively stands guard in front of the car, wagging its tail for a job well done.
