Eco World to bring Montessori schooling to Eco Grandeur and Eco Tropics

    PETALING JAYA: Eco World Development Group Bhd has signed two memorandums of understanding (MoU) with Brainy Bunch International Islamic Montessori (Brainy Bunch) for the purchase of land in Eco Grandeur, Shah Alam and Eco Tropics, Iskandar Malaysia.
    Under the MoU, Ecoworld said Brainy Bunch will develop and operate an International School Campus and a Montessori Kindergarten Campus in the group's two largest townships.
    "We are excited to be working on this new collaboration with Brainy Bunch to provide high quality education to our community as well as the surrounding communities in two of EcoWorld's largest townships," Eco World's president and CEO Datuk Chang Khim Wah said in a statement yesterday.
    The International School Campus in Eco Grandeur will be the first in the vicinity that caters to both primary and secondary students.
    Spanning over 1,400 acres, Eco Grandeur is a leasehold mixed development township which will be developed in tandem with Eco Business Park V, the group's first gated and guarded green business park in the Klang Valley, with a combined gross development value of RM15 billion. Meanwhile, Eco Tropics is a RM5.4 billion mixed-township.
    Founded in 2010, Brainy Bunch currently operates 73 pre-school campuses nationwide, with more than 6,000 students. It also has an elementary/high-school campus in Putra Heights, two schools in Singapore, one in Indonesia and a charity school in Gaza.
    It is also the only Elementary Montessori school in South East Asia with Cambridge International Primary Programme & North America Montessori Center.
