Assemblyman advises Semporna residents to choose reality politics over emotional politics

SEMPORNA: Semporna residents have been urged to choose reality politics over emotional politics based on the ability of the Barisan Nasional government led by Umno to maintain stability and security in Sabah and bring development to the state.
Senallang Assemblyman Datuk Seri Nasir Sakaran said Umno had been in Sabah for more than 20 years and throughout the period, brought about numerous changes in terms of development and security reinforcement.
"In Semporna, the developments included roads, water and electricity supply while in the aspect of security, the government has strengthened it with placement of a formidable military and police force as well as security assets against any pirate and terrorist threat from Southern Philippines," he told reporters here today.
Nasir who is also Semporna Umno acting chief said it was therefore important for Umno members and the people in Semporna to know reality and choose the right candidate and party in the 14th general election. — Bernama
