(Video) Man sets dog on fire for chewing on flip-flops

ANOTHER dog abuse video has taken social media by storm, this time showing a dog owner in Johor burning his pet for chewing on a pair of flip-flops.
In the 16-second clip uploaded on Facebook, the owner who came home to find his slippers had been chewed by his pet, sets the dog's tail on fire. The caged dog winces as it tries to move its legs away from the flames.
Along with the video, a photo seemingly showing the dog's charred remains was also uploaded on social media. However, the owner later confimed that the dog was still alive, but wounded.
After receiving multiple death threats from angry netizens, the owner lodged a police report over the incident, according to Sin Chew Daily. The man also released an apology and urged the public to stop harassing his family.
Authorities have confirmed that the dog is alive and well and will be adopted soon.
