JJPTR says foreign investors assisting in comeback

BUTTERWORTH: A troubled high-yield investment scheme company founder allegedly have successfully attracted some foreign investors to invest in his company in order to make a come back.
JJ Poor To Rich (JJPTR) founder Johnson Lee had uploaded a four-minute video clip to announce his latest update on his company development at about 10pm last night via his company official facebook page and also wechat.
Lee said he had able to attract some foreign investors to invest in his company and he is confident he will be able to settle the company's crisis and return all capital to 31,000 members.
He said other than returning money to those members, who have not obtained back their capitals, for members, who had already obtained back their capitals, also would be receiving their initial investment capitals too.
"I will return all capitals that members have invested regardless members already obtain their profit or not.
"As for those members, who had already obtained their capitals, I think they are deserved to enjoy previous their returns of investment (ROI)," he said in the video clip.
Lee added he would continue to make video messages to communicate with his investors on the company's developments.
He also said that he would be attending the company's dinner gathering, which will be held at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur, on May 20.
On other matter, Lee called on the media to not involve his family members or friends in his problems.
"I am taking full responsibility on this matter. Just write on me but please do not involve my friends and family," he said.
The company running the scheme is in trouble after it claimed its trading account was hacked, resulting in losses of US$50 million (RM218.26 million).
There are also reports and social media posts claiming the losses could be more than USD400 million.
The high-yield investment scheme, popularly known as "money game", was established in 2015 and accepted investments as low as US$25 and promised returns as high as 20% a month.
