Police nab 17 foreign GRO in Ipoh

IPOH: Police detain 17 foreign women guest relation officers, six local male clients and two entertainment centre owners in Ops Noda in two separate raids here yesterday.
State CID chief Datuk Gan Tian Kee said three Vietnamese women and the outlet owner were detained in the first raid on an entertainment centre in Taman Cempaka at 6.30pm.
“They were waiting for customers when we raided the premises,” he said when contacted by Bernama here today.
Meanwhile, Gan said women from China (11) and Vietnam (three), six local male clients and the outlet owner were detained in the second raid at a reflexology centre in Jalan Seenivasagam at 11.50pm.
He said the 17 women, aged 20 to 30 years, did not have valid work permits while only seven had valid travel documents. — Bernama
