TKC receives bus from PM, wife

NILAI: Tunku Kurshiah College (TKC) today received a bus gifted by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.
The bus keys were handed to TKC principal Anismah M. Noh by TKC Old Students Association president Tan Sri Rafiah Salim and witnessed by Rosmah who is also a TKC alumni.
"The students will be able to travel more conveniently and safely in this bus," said Rosmah at a programme to celebrate the college's excellence and distinction here today
She also hoped that TKC would maintain its standard as an outstanding fully residential school with the continuous support of the government, school administration, parents and students.
"This support is very important as it determines the direction of TKC as an educational institution capable of producing human capital that is of quality," she said.
After the handing over, Rosmah also took the opportunity to 'tour' the school grounds on the new bus. — Bernama
