Sime Darby Property, KWAP and Brunsfield to lead development of Malaysia Vision Valley

    PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Property Bhd, Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP) and Brunsfield Development Sdn Bhd have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to lead the development of the 153,000ha Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV).
    Under the MoU, the three parties will explore the opportunity to develop the first phase of MVV in the area which forms part of the 11,000ha of land being planned for development.
    In a joint statement issued yesterday, Sime Darby Property managing director Datuk Jauhari Hamidi said the MoU is a major step forward for MVV, which will set new international standards in Malaysia for sustainable, innovative and inclusive development.
    MVV is a new strategic development region encompassing the districts of Seremban and Port Dickson in Negri Sembilan. It is a public-private partnership with the government and forms a key part of the 11th Malaysia Plan and National Transformation Plan. The 30-year project is expected to attract about RM290 billion of investments.
