Father of six arrested for allegedly raping youngest daughter

JOHOR BARU: A father of six has been arrested for allegedly raping his eight-year-old daughter.
The grasscutter has a previous conviction for molest and completed serving a four-month jail term late last year.
Iskandar Putri police district chief Asst Comm Nor Hashim Mohamad said the alleged victim is the youngest in the family.
The suspect is alleged to have raped his daughter at their home in Kangkar Pulai on May 4.
Nor Hashim said the victim had complained to her 13-year-old brother that their father had forced himself on her.
The son subsequently lodged a police report at the Tanjung Puteri police station on May 7.
The suspect was arrested on the same day in Bandar Baru Kangkar Pulai.
Nor Hashim said the suspect lives with his six children - three boys and three girls and was separated from his wife who does not live with them.
The case will be investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape.
