Lorry driver killed after forklift load falls on him in Jurong

SINGAPORE: A 54-year-old lorry driver was killed after he was crushed by forklift load that fell on him in Jurong here at 10.30pm yesterday.
Singapore police confirmed the industrial accident at 52 Tanjong Penjuru, saying they were alerted to the accident.
"A 54-year-old man was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene," said the Singapore Police Force in a statement.
Meanwhile, a video footage has gone viral online showing a man standing in front of a forklift that was transferring its load onto a lorry. The load fell on the man. The video is too graphic to be shared.
