158 receive awards from acting Pahang Sultan Tengku Abdullah

PEKAN: Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmah Shah, the acting Sultan of Pahang, conferred state awards and medals to 158 recipients at the investiture ceremony held at Istana Abu Bakar in conjunction with the Sultan of Pahang’s birthday, here today.
Heading the recipients list was Datin Seri Feona Sim, the wife of Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, who received the Darjah Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) which carries the title ‘Datuk Seri’.
Four other recipients of the SSAP were former Bukit Aman director of Integrity and Standard Compliance Department Datuk Jalaluddin A. Rahman, United Panel System (M) Sdn Bhd director Datuk Loh Cher Xiong, Elitesoft Adia Sdn Bhd directors Tan Choon Nan and Ee Chang Ku.

Five individuals were conferred the Darjah Seri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP) which carries the title Datuk Indera.
They were Tengku Datuk Nurul Kamalia Tengku Kamil Ismail, Tengku Madihah Shahzan Tengku Kamil Ismail, Tengku Aidy Ahmad Shah Tengku Kamil Ismail, Kuala Lumpur High Court Judicial Commissioner Datuk Ab Karim Ab Rahman and Chief Executive Officer of Pahang Development Corporation, Datuk Abdul Rahim Mohd Ali.
Six individuals were awarded the Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) which carries the title ‘Datuk’, namely Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) Director-General Azhar Abdul Manaf, Commander of Region 1 Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Major General Datuk Marsaleh Hassim; Assistant Chief of Staff of Defence Planning Division (Malaysian Armed Forces headquarters), Datuk Mohammad Salleh Osman, Deputy Director of Litigation Monitoring Sector (Attorney-General's Chambers) Mohamad Jazamuddin Ahmad Nawawi, Secretary of Government Investment Companies Division (Ministry of Finance) Asri Hamidon and Pahang Menteri Besar’s Political Secretary Datuk Shamsuddin Nawawi.
Former National footballer N. Thanabalan, singer Nassier Wahab and former sports writer George Das were among 43 recipients of the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) which carries the title ‘Datuk’.
Among others in the list of recipients were Kuantan High Court Judicial Commissioner Hassan Abdul Ghani, Penang Syariah Court chief judge Datuk Abdul Walid Abu Hassan, Asia Madam Waffle Sdn Bhd managing director Datin Seri Linda Chen May Yen, Natural Hydraulic Research Institute of Malaysia director general (NAHRIM) Dr Azuhan Mohamed, Perbadanan Kemajuan Kraftangan Malaysia director-general Zuraida Mokhtar, National Water Commission chief executive Mohd Shukri Abdul Razik, Melaka Customs director Mohd Noor Yusoff, Kedah Customs director Johari Alifiah, Pahang Tourism and Culture office director Idros Yahya, Negeri Sembilan deputy police chief SAC Muhamad Zaki Harun, Sultan Ahmad Shah Maritime Academy director First Admiral (Maritime) Wan Mohd Affandi Wan Ahmad, Melaka Courts director Mohd Nasir Nordin and Pahang Courts director Unaizah Mohd.
Seven individuals received the Darjah Setia Ahmad Shah Pahang (SAP), seven were awarded the Darjah Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP), 12 were recipients of the Darjah Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP) while 34 received the Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP).
Nine individuals received the Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC), Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (PKT) 16 recipients and 14 Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) recipients complete the list. — Bernama
