PAS president admitted to hospital

PETALING JAYA: PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang has been admitted to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur and will undergo intensive treatment care tomorrow.
Hadi's political secretary Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said the Islamist party will provide updates about the Marang MP's condition from time to time.
Samsuri, however, did not mention the cause of Hadi's health problem.
"PAS invites all members and supporters to pray for his health and for treatment to go well. Hadi's family and the party would like to thank the public for giving Hadi some space to recuperate by not visiting him at the hospital for the time being," Samsuri said in a statement.
Hadi was admitted to the National Heart Institute last October.
