17 graduate from Berjaya Manager Development Programme

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 17 staff of the Berjaya group of companies graduated from the Berjaya Manager Development Programme (BMDP) today.
The nine-month programme, which started in August 2016, consists of six modules and is integrated with e-learning and simulation.
The training is expected to enhance vital management skills and improve career prospects for Berjaya staff.
At today's ceremony, three special awards were handed out to outstanding participants — Inspirational Leader Award, Team Builder Award and Change Driver Award.
Wen Berjaya Sdn Bhd operations manager Richard Khoo Swee Leong received the Inspirational Leader Award.
He was selected based on steady progress in leadership development, took charge when leadership is needed while demonstrating support and guidance for the team members.
Wen Berjaya Sdn Bhd marketing manager Eva Goh Swee Gaik, who received the Change Driver Award, said besides development on leadership skills, she learnt about her strengths and weaknesses.
Berjaya Roasters (M) Sdn Bhd sales and event manager Nur Sufina Thong Abdullah, who received the Team Builder Award, said although initially the programme was overwhelming, she was able to capture the essence of the training progressively.
