KUALA LUMPUR: Two parang-wielding robbers forced their way into a house and robbed a woman and escaped with the victim's luxury cars at Bandar Kinrara here today.
Cheras district police chief ACP Chong Kok Sin said the parang-wielding robbers were aggressive with their victim and had entered the home located at Jalan BK9, Taman Kinrara in the 6am incident.
The robbers wearing masks had arrived on foot before barging into the victim's house.
They went on a violent spree when one of them held the 39-year-old woman by her hair and another suspect pointed a parang at the woman's neck demanding for cash and valuables.
"The duo grabbed several gold jewellery worth RM20,000, house keys, several of the victim's company documents, a laptop, handphone and some cash.
"The suspects then tied up the woman before escaping with victim's two cars – a Chevrolet and a Mercedes.
"We are still in the midst of identifying the suspects," Chong said in a statement today.
He added that the case had been classified under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for gang robbery.
