VOLKSWAGEN Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has ramped up production of the recently-launched, all-new Volkswagen Tiguan, in an effort to meet the demands of Malaysian consumers.
Launched last month, two variants of the Tiguan are available, the Comfortline which retails at RM148,990, and the Highline, priced at RM168,990.
VPCM managing director, Erik Winter, said: “We are pleased to announce that the Tiguan Highline has been very well-received by Malaysians, and the Comfortline has also caught the eyes of those looking for quality, value-for-money German engineering. The Pekan plant is working hard on its production timeline to guarantee stock availability, and customers can be rest assured that we will be doing our utmost best to ensure and smooth and fast delivery to our new owners.”
To give added value to Malaysian consumers, VPCM has introduced a brand new colour for the Tiguan, Crimson Red – now available for booking.
The Tiguan is Volkswagen’s most successful SUV, with 2.8 million units of the Tiguan already sold globally. Drawing from this success, the all-new Tiguan has redefined new standards in design, comfort and functionality. Perfectly thought out from the first to the last millimetre, spacious and flexible – the all-new Tiguan appeals to drivers and their families as an ideal companion for their everyday business and personal lives as a genuine all-round vehicle.
The all-new Tiguan comes with five years’ manufacturer’s warranty and five years’ roadside assistance. And for a limited period, VPCM is offering the App Connect function as complimentary in the Tiguan Highline.
