Malaysia's first online equities broker launched

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians are now able to open an equity trading account completely online for trading on the local bourse with Rakuten Trade.
Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd and Japan's Rakuten Securities, Inc this morning launched its joint venture company Rakuten Trade Sdn Bhd.
As Malaysia's first completely online equities broker, Rakuten Trade is set to revolutionise online stock trading with its iSPEED.my platform.
The launch was officiated by Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Lee Chee Leong.
