IPOH: Six Form Two students of a residential school in Parit, Perak Tengah district, sustained injuries after being allegedly bullied by their seniors.
In the May 5 incident, the students were beaten up by 10 Form Three and Form Four students after one of the victims refused to lend a pair of boots to one of them.
Perak Tengah district police chief Supt Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said police received six reports a day after the incident.
"We also recorded statements from the 10 seniors and it is believed they have been suspended," he told reporters today.
Mohamad said the victims sustained minor injuries and bruises as a result of the assault.
He urged the families of the students not to take matters into their own hands, as it would jeopardise police investigations.
Both the seniors and the victims are from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.
