Tiger uncages music lineup for 2017

IT'S going to be another exciting year for lovers of music and art as Tiger Beer's #Uncagemusic is back again this year, bigger and better than before, ready to entice fans with a myriad of events aimed at showcasing the best audiovisual talents from Malaysia and beyond.
Building on the success of Tiger Translate and Tiger Jams, #Uncagemusic will continue to offer unique collaborations between the music and art scenes to deliver immersive, integrated audiovisual experiences unlike any other.
Taking in music festivals, a series of hosted shows, sponsorships, and a support network for upcoming local artists, this year's #Uncagemusic promises a packed calendar for Malaysian fans who just can't get enough.
"Tiger Beer has always been at the forefront of delivering unique music and visual experiences to Malaysian drinkers. We began with the success of Tiger Translate and Tiger Jams, and we're going to keep building on that in the long term with #Uncagemusic," said Jessie Chuah the marketing manager of Tiger Beer.
"Through the audiovisual collaboration of #Uncagemusic, Tiger Beer will continue to bring the worlds of music and art together in a series of immersive experiences that are not to be missed."
The highly-anticipated event will kick-off at Urbanscapes 2017. Apart from taking pride as the official beer sponsor for this renowned music festival, Tiger Beer will also be hosting the finale of the festival on May 21 at the Tiger #Uncagemusic Block Party.
It doesn't just end there because headlining the #Uncagemusic Block Party are Canadian electronic double act Crystal Castles, supported by South Korean indie rockers Hyukoh. On top of that, great audiovisual collaborations between artists and musicians such as Tiger Jams favourites Rozella, Kenji Chai, Ryotjones and more await fans throughout the full-day party at The Row, Kuala Lumpur.
Some 50 pairs of tickets to the #Uncagemusic Block Party are up for grabs - just take part in the contest available on Tiger Beer's Facebook page. There are also 20 pairs of tickets to be won in the participating outlets in The Row block party on May 21 itself.
Next up is the #Uncagemusic Series held at The Bee in Publika, a series of shows featuring incredible international, regional and local acts. Taking place several times throughout the year, expect to see international artists share the stage with some of the best homegrown bands we know.
The Bee will also play host to the legendary Upfront series this year, with Tiger Beer returning as the official beer sponsor. Known for bringing the hottest live acts from around the world to Malaysia,
