Fantasy-like futsal court leaves Malaysians in awe

IT LOOKS like a scene right out of a movie, but this extraordinary futsal court is actually neatly tucked away in a rural part of Sabah.
A remarkable photo showing a futsal court covered in creepers amidst lush greenery has left Malaysians in awe after it went viral on the Harimau Malaya Facebook site.
Located in the Nabawan district, the court is the training grounds of students from SK Logongon, located miles away from the city.
According to the teacher who sent in the breathtaking image, the court can only be reached via a two-hour drive through logging roads using a four-wheel drive. After the arduous journey, it can take up to another hour to cross a river before reaching the field.
From the school, students have to walk through hilly terrain for 15 minutes to get to the court.
The court was built this way to avoid the heat from the sun and provide fresh air.
The image which was captured by a drone has been shared over 600 times, and has been described as akin to a "fantasy world".
