Police woman charged with consorting with crime syndicate

KUALA LUMPUR: A police woman was charged with consorting with an organised crime syndicate, "Geng 360 Devan" at a Magistrate Court here today.
S.Kushalani, 31, an Inspector was charged with consorting with members of "Geng 360 Devan" at Beats Club, No.30, Jalan 22a/70a, Desa Sri Hartamas, between March 2015 and July 2015.
The charge under Section 130Y of the Penal Code, is punishable with a minimum jail term of five years and a maximum of not more than 20 years, upon conviction.
No plea was recorded from the accused.
Magistrate Siti Radziah Kamarudin fixed June 15 for mention.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Mohd Izhanudin Alias prosecuted.
