9 injured after express bus rams into back of trailer

MUAR: Eight passengers and a driver were injured after an express bus crashed into the back of a trailer at KM144.7 of the North-South Expressway , near Gambir last night.
The nine injured were sent to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital here after the 10.30pm accident. The driver and attendant of the trailer were unhurt.
Johor Fire and Rescue Department (Operations) assistant director Mohd Rizal Buang said a team from Muar and Gambir Fire and Rescue Departments, and an ambulance from Pagoh were rushed to the scene after they received the distress call.
