WOULD you pay thousands of dollars for a scarf? Believe it or not, some fashion lovers don't mind spending big bucks on the latest designer tudung.
According to Bawal Exclusive Sdn. Bhd founder Haliza Maysuri, a customer from Kelantan once paid a whopping RM21,600 for a tailor-made tudung!
The owner of the Puchong-based boutique told Kosmo that many of her customers are public personalities who are willing to fork out more for an exclusive range of custom-made scarves.
For those who don't want to break the bank, Bawal Exclusive also offers an affordable range of scarves encrusted with Swarovski crystals for a more modest RM50 a piece.
