PETALING JAYA: Pavilion KL kicks off its "Let's Go Raya" celebration with the unveiling of the biggest mosaic made from 87,000 Lego bricks in Malaysia.

The mosaic was put together by the Lego Malaysia team. It measures 8m in length and 3m in width.

Also on display is the Lego Kampung House Diorama. A creation of 18 builders from the Lego User Group of Malaysia, the diorama measures 2.1m by 2.1m and is 60cm in height.

It took over 100,000 Lego pieces to complete the eight kampung houses, three government service buildings, one hawker centre, and one bazaar centre that made up the diorama.
The "Let's Go Raya" campaign will run until June 2. The event is part of the shopping centre's social responsibility initiative.

Representatives from 10 care homes, 120 children, and 23 single mothers were celebrated at the event. They were joined by Federal Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Executive Chairman Puan Seri Cindy Lim, Pavilion KL CEO of retail Datuk Joyce Yap, and CEO of Pavilion REIT Philip Ho.
