Man dies, wife and son injured in Tawau accident

TAWAU: A man was killed and his wife and son were injured after a four-wheel-drive vehicle was involved in a collision with a timber-laden lorry at Batu 1 Jalan Kalabakan-Sapulut near here last night.
Tawau Police chief ACP Fadil Marsus said Dedy Daniel, 45, was killed in the accident which occurred at about 10pm.
Dedy's wife Rosinah Muaiba, 39, and their son Henry, eight, were slightly injured, he added.
He also said that the lorry driver fled after the accident. — Bernama
