THIRTY orphans from Keluarga Besar Norlina Alawi experienced true Turkish hospitality at an event to mark the official launch of fahrenheit88’s “Merhaba Hari Raya” campaign.
Beginning with an exciting book-shopping treat at Bookxcess, the children were then escorted to the ground floor of the mall to witness a captivating magic show followed by a chance to unleash their creativity via an art and craft activity, all amid the grandeur of Turkish-inspired decorations.
TURKISH FESTIVE FLAIR
“Hari Raya is a time for togetherness. And malls are the epicentre for communities to gather, to celebrate occasions and to engage in new experiences. fahrenheit88 aims to do just that, provide a Hari Raya mood inspired by the unique Turkish heritage,” said fahrenheit88 director of marketing Kung Suan Ai.
Also present at the launch were the mall’s general manager of operations Goh Chong Wooi and general manager of leasing Alicia Yuen, who together with Kung, handed out duit raya to the children, along with new school bags from Shoes Gallery by Parkson.
The day ended with a hearty buka puasa meal at the brand new concept food court called Makan Makan by Parkson.
Until July 2, visitors to fahrenheit88 can experience and learn to appreciate Turkish heritage art and decoration, via art and craft workshops and performances. Not-to-be-missed is the Raya Fusion Dance shows at 6pm on June 17, 18, 24 and 25.
