Fajarbaru awarded RM12.8m by Petronas unit

PETALING JAYA: Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd has been awarded a contract worth RM12.8 million for works at klia2 by Petronas Dagangan Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia last Friday, the group said its wholly owned subsidiary Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd accepted the EPCC (engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning) contract for phase two of the Jet-A1 underground pipeline foundation and asssociated works at klia2 Q Even Aircraft Parking Bay for Kuala Lumpur Aviation Fuelling System Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Petronas.
The contract period is for 34 weeks from June 16, 2017 and it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the group for the financial year ending June 30, 2018.
