Raja Muda of Selangor hands out Raya aid to orphans, needy

BANTING: The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah today handed out Hari Raya Aidilfitri aid to about 300 orphans and the needy during his visit to Kuala Langat, here today.
The recipients comprised 113 needy children and Orang Asli families in Kampung Olak Lempit, Banting and 151 orphans from Batu 9, Kebun Baru, Telok Panglima Garang; Rumah Penyayang Bestari Kuala Langat; and Kampung Permatang Pasir, Kuala Langat.
The contributions were from Kumpulan Semesta Sdn Bhd, Pertubuhan Inspirasi Komuniti Bersama Rakyat (IKTIBAR) Kuala Langat, Segi Value Holdings Sdn Bhd, Jakel Sdn Bhd and Sunway Group.
The programme initiated by Tengku Amir Shah, was to enable the needy and orphans to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri just like others.
During the programme, Tengku Amir Shah also spent time to visit three people with special needs in Kampung Olak Lempit and handed out Hari Raya aid before joining the villagers to prepare "dodol" and orphans from Rumah Penyayang Bestari to clean the Kampung Permatang Pasir mosque. — Bernama
