CARLSBERG recently launched its “Probably the Best Brewery Tour” campaign, which runs until July 31. The initiative invites loyal fans of the brand to celebrate Carlsberg’s 170th anniversary.
According to Carlsberg Malaysia marketing director Charles Wong, the campaign will provide 10 loyal customers (who can bring a friend each) a chance to explore Copenhagen in Denmark. This “once-in-a-lifetime, money-can’t buy” trip is in addition to exclusive opportunities for another 300 (who can bring five friends along) to visit Carlsberg’s Shah Alam brewery where they will be taken on a VIP tour. Both the trip and tour include enviable opportunities and exclusive experiences.
SIMPLE PARTICIPATION
With such extravagant prizes to give away, one might think that the contest may be extremely challenging and participating, burdensome. Instead, all loyal customers need do is present bottle caps from Carlsberg 640ml bottles or Carlsberg Smooth Draught 580ml bottles with designated icons underneath it. These beers are sold at participating coffee shops, food courts, hawker centres and Chinese restaurants. Look out for the “Copenhagen 2017” icon to win the grand prize and “Carlsberg Malaysia 2017” for the brewery tour.
Consumers who spend a minimum of RM30 on Carlsberg or Carlsberg Smooth Draught in a single receipt at selected bars, pubs, hypermarkets, supermarkets and convenience chain outlets are not left out. They stand to win the same awesome prizes by answering a simple question via WhatsApp or WeChat.

Fans of Carlsberg have until July 31 to get lucky and win the trip or tour. Log on to the Carlsberg Malaysia website for details of the privileged and rare experiences, along with the luxurious treats and VIP hospitality in store. In addition, consumers who collect 36 crown corks with the “Hop Leaf 2017” icon can redeem a limited-edition Carlsberg bath towel, while those with 12 crown corks can redeem a 320ml can of Carlsberg Smooth Draught.
