PETALING JAYA: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) has granted another extension of time for its group president and CEO Datuk Zakaria Arshad to respond to a show-cause letter.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, FGV said Zakaria has until 12pm next Thursday (June 29) to submit the explanation to the show-cause letter. FGV said Zakaria had also submitted another letter to the company secretaries today to request for a list of documents to be given to him today. FGV said all the documents requested by Zakaria were granted and given to him today.
Zakaria, who was forced to take a leave of absence on June 6, was issued a show-cause letter on June 13. He was given seven days to respond and was supposed to submit an explanation by 4.30pm on June 20.
FGV granted Zakaria an extension of time until 12pm today after considering his request for an extension of time to reply by July 30, 2017.
