70,000 expected at PM, Cabinet Ministers' Aidilfitri open house

PUTRAJAYA: About 70,000 people are expected to attend the Aidilfitri open house of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and Cabinet ministers at the Seri Perdana complex here on the first day of Aidilfitri.
The open house will be from 10am to 4pm, said Prime Minister's Department senior deputy secretary-general Tan Sri Othman Mahmood.
He said the Prime Minister, Cabinet ministers and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa would greet the guests.
"The people are invited to attend the open house. Various kinds of food, including Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisine as well as vegetarian dishes will be served.
"Guests will also be entertained to performances by guest artistes to add to the spirit of Aidilfitri," he said to reporters after a first-hand look at the final preparations for the open house at Seri Perdana.
Othman also said that free shuttle bus services would be provided to Seri Perdana from three locations, namely Putrajaya Sentral, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque and Putra Mosque. Nestle Milo trucks offering drinks would be stationed at the three locations, he added. — Bernama
