THE FORMER Beach Boy is due to release a new Best-Of compilation featuring previously unreleased songs, including new track Run James Run, reports Pitchfork.com.
The music news website announces that the upcoming anthology will be called Playback, and will feature 18 tracks from the artist's solo albums.
The compilation will span 30 years of Brian Wilson's career, starting from his first solo LP released in 1988, and will feature studio tracks, live recordings and two new tracks: Run James Run and Some Sweet Day.
The anthology is slated for release September 22, and will also feature photos from the star's solo career. The musician is currently touring to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beach Boys album Pet Sounds. — AFP Relaxnews
