Two students die in Terengganu road accident

KUALA TERENGGANU: Two students were killed after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a car in Kampung Tualang, Manir, here last night, according to police.
Mohammad Azwar Athari Mohd Rezali,19, Muhammad Shahrul Aiman Mohd Fauzi,15, who was riding pillion, were killed on the spot in the accident that happened at 10.30pm, said Terengganu Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Abd Razak Hasan.
Mohammad Azwar Athari was a student of Sekolah Pondok Wakaf Tapai and Muhammad Shahrul Aiman, of Sekolah Menengah Sri Nilam, Kubang Tangga, here, he said.
Abd Razak said the 29-year-old driver of the car, a Perodua Viva, and three passengers were slightly injured.
The bodies were sent to the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital here, he added. — Bernama
