PETALING JAYA: A documentary on the untold story of six Chinese survivors of the Titanic is set to be released in 2018. It will uncover the lives of six Chinese men who survived the infamous sinking of the Titanic.
The documentary, directed by Arthur Jones, will tell viewers who these Chinese survivors were, how they escaped, and how they disappeared from the history books.
These Chinese passengers were rescued from the frigid waters of the North Atlantic. They were taken to the United States and deported within 24 hours under the notorious Chinese Exclusion Act.
Their stories remained untold and they disappeared from the records, until now.
The director tracked down their descendants, and gave voice to the six forgotten by history.
