Late brother-in-law of Ahmad Zahid buried in Malacca

ALOR GAJAH: The late Kamarulzaman Khamis, brother-in-law of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, was laid to rest at the Kampung Solok Air Batu Muslim Cemetery here this evening.
Kamarulzaman, who was 59, died at 10.59am due to heart complications at the Tuanku Mizan Military Hospital in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur.
Ahmad Zahid, his wife Datin Seri Hamidah Khamis and about 300 family members, relatives and friends attended the burial at the cemetery at 4.15pm.
Also present were Malacca Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron and state executive councillors.
Kamarulzaman, the third younger sibling of Hamidah, was admitted to the Terendak Camp Hospital in Melaka at 3am yesterday and was transferred to the Tuanku Mizan Military Hospital later.
