Two motorcyclists killed in collision with 4WD

PARIT: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were killed when their machine collided with a four-wheel-drive vehicle at KM32 Jalan Beruas Parit, Perak today.
Perak Tengah district police chief Supt Mohamad Zainal Abdullah identified the victims as vocational college student Muhammad Nor Hanizam Abd Karim, 16, who was riding pillion with Mohammad Sharul Hamid, 22, a factory operator.
He said both the victims were seriously injured and died on the spot in the collision which occurred at about 12.15pm.

The crash occurred when Mohammad Sharul lost control of his Yamaha 125ZR motorcyle, causing the machine to skid and veer into the path of an oncoming Mitsubishi Pajero 4WD, he said when contacted here today.
He said the driver of the 4WD, aged 36, escaped unhurt.
The bodies of the two motorcyclist were sent to Changkat Melintang Hospital for post mortem, he added. — Bernama
