50,000 attend Negeri Sembilan MB's open house

REMBAU: About 50,000 people attended Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan's Aidilfitri open house in Rantau today.
Yang Dipertuan Besar Negri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir and Tunku Ampuan Besar NegriSembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani Almarhum Tengku Besar Mahmud were among those who attended the event.
Other dignitaries at the event held from 10am to 5pm were Undang Luak of Rembau, Datuk Lela Maharaja Datuk Muhamad Sharip Othman; Undang Luak of Johol Datuk Johan Pahlawan Lela Perkasa Setiawan Datuk Mohammed Abdullah; former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and wife, Tun Jeanne Abdullah; Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar; and, Socio-Cultural Adviser to the Government Tan Sri Dr Rais Yatim.
Also present were Education Deputy Minister and MCA Youth Chief, Datuk Chong Sin Woon, MyPPP president Tan Sri M. Kayveas, Malaysia's Ambassador to Cambodia Datuk Seri Hasan Malek, state executive councillors as well as state Barisan Nasional component party leaders.
An assortment of food and delicacies, including, fried noodles, nasi minyak, and satay were served at the open house.
Guests were entertained by the Putra Sari group with traditional, state, and Aidilfitri songs. — Bernama
