Beckham causes a stir in Bangkok

SPORTS celebrity David Beckham was an instant hit with the locals in Bangkok over the weekend.
He posted an Instagram of himself standing on the top of a building in Bangkok on Friday with a caption "So happy to be in Thailand for the next few days and looking forward to chatting with you all on Facebook live."
The 42-year-old former footballer was in Thailand to film a commercial for AIA insurance company. A photo shoot was held. Photos of him walking in Sampeng, a shopping area of inner Bangkok, have gone viral on social media.
On Saturday Beckham did a live interview with the famous TV host Woody on Facebook which received more than two million views.
During the interview he said: "I'm shooting a commercial for a company that I'm partnering with. It's exciting. They've booked me here for shooting in different locations, locations that I'm really pleased about."
