More time given for conversion of cards for MRT service

PETALING JAYA: Commuters are taking full advantage of the free conversion of the pre-paid MyRapid transit cards to a brand new MyRapid Touch n Go (TnG) card for the MRT service.
Prasarana Malaysia has given time till July 15 for commuters to change their cards prior to the opening of the MRT line service on July 17.
A senior citizen, Foo Seng How, 62, was happy to have his MyRapid transit card within minutes today at the Subang Jaya Light Rail Transit (LRT) station.
The current MyRapid transit cards will expire on July 15 as it is not compatible for the MRT lines ticketing system.
The card conversion exercise covers the normal MyRapid cards and MyRapid concession cards, including those for senior citizens, students and the disabled.
