    Smooth traffic on most major highways this evening

PETALING JAYA: Except for some stretches on major highways, traffic was smooth as Klang Valley residents made their way home today after the Hari Raya celebrations.
According to the Lebuhraya Pantai Timur (LPT) traffic report, there was a short traffic crawl at KM32 (westbound) until the Gombak Toll Plaza as at 5.36pm.
An LPT traffic information spokesman said the slow traffic on this short stretch continued till midnight.
"It is due to high volume of vehicles heading to Kuala Lumpur (KL). But it is just for a short distance," the spokesman told theSun when contacted.
Traffic on all other major highways heading to KL and other major cities was smooth and clear of congestion as at press time.
The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) traffic information centre showed that traffic flow on the East Coast Expressway 1 and 2 has also been smooth all day.
