McDonalds Malaysia adds 100 Plus onto beverage portfolio

PETALING JAYA: McDonalds Malaysia has added 100 Plus as part of it beverages portfolio following a partnership with F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd.

With this partnership, which was two years in the making, the isotonic drink will now be available in 260 McDonald's outlets countrywide.

"As far as F&N is concerned this is not the time to count profitability but time to fulfill the objective of 100 Plus which is care," Fraser&Neave Holdings Bhd CEO Lim Yew Hoe said.

There is no stipulated time frame for the partnership, which is expected to be for the long term.

McDonald's customer base is set to increase to 200 million from the current base of 160 million, following initiatives announced in March. It committed RM1.4 billion for a nine year expansion plan which will double its outlets to 450 by 2025.
