Federal Territories Ministry open house draw 20,000 visitors

PUTRAJAYA: The Hari Raya Aidilfitri mood is still in the air for the thousands of guests of various races attending the open house celebration organised by the Federal Territories Ministry.
The celebration, held at Putrajaya Corporation complex, were jam-packed with the presence of almost 20,000 guests.
Also present at the event was Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.
At the event, Tengku Adnan also handed out Hari Raya contributions to 3,000 children, amounting to RM60,000.
The open house celebration was co-hosted by Putrajaya Corporation, Federal Territories Foundation and Umno Putrajaya.
Under a smart partnership concept, the event also collaborated with corporate bodies and non-governmental organisations to provide various other meals to the guests in attendance.
Programme partners for the event were Berjaya Corporation, Putrajaya International Convention Centre and Marina Putrajaya Sdn Bhd.
The event was aimed at strengthening the interaction between leaders and the rakyat and to also foster unity among Malaysians.
