Samsung launches new coral blue Galaxy S8/S8+ smartphone

ACCORDING to YouGov, an online community that specialises in market intelligence covering 10 countries across four continents, blue was revealed to be the world's favourite colour.
Based on this study, Samsung has released a coral blue colour variant for its flagship Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ coral blue features that same 18.5:9 edge-to-edge infinity display that sets this prestigious phone apart from the others.
Its dual-pixel sensor technology, wide aperture, and fast autofocus of the 12MP f1.7 rear camera, work together to create beautiful photographs even in low-light conditions.
The 8MP f1.7 front camera has been equipped with enhanced autofocus features and facial recognition technology that can recognise and track faces to provide clear, focused selfies, regardless of the distance between the user and the camera.
For the security conscious, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+is built on Samsung Knox, a defense-grade security platform and is equipped with a wide selection of biometric technologies including a fingerprint scanner, iris scanner and facial recognition. Both are powered by an octa-core 64 bit, 10 nm processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Meanwhile, Samsung also has a treat for fans of South Korean boyband EXO, with the announcement of limited edition Samsung Galaxy Friends x EXO phone cases in conjunction with the S8 roadshow, taking place from July 13 to 16 at South Court, Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur.
The first 500 customers to purchase a Galaxy S8 at the S8 roadshow, will get to go home with a free Samsung Galaxy Friends x EXO phone case for the Samsung Galaxy S8.
The Galaxy S8 coral blue is available now at the recommended retail price of RM 3,299, while the Galaxy S8+ coral blue is offered at a suggested retail price of RM3,699.
