Special low interest rate for VW Vento and Passat

VOLKSWAGEN Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has introduced a special low interest rate promotion for the the Vento Trendline, Comfortline and AllStar; and the Passat Trendline and Comfortline.
The promotion, which kicks-off today and will end on Sept 30, is applicable for hire purchase loans with the durations of five to nine years, and starts from as low as 0.28% per annum for the Vento variants and 0.88% for the Passat variants. Also, those Volkswagen models come with five-year free maintenance offer, valid till Sept 30 too.
The low interest rates (according to loan tenure) are:
Vento Trendline/Comfortline/AllStar
Five years: 0.28%, seven years: 0.88%, nine years: 1.28%.
Passat Trendline/Comfortline
Five years: 0.88%, seven years: 1.28%, nine years: 1.68%.

The Volkswagen Vento 1.6l Trendline, Comfortline and AllStar come with a six-speed automatic transmission gearbox with Tiptronic function. With an output of 103.6hp, maximum torque of 153Nm, the Vento offers the highest torque in its class, and superior fuel economy of 6.5 litres per 100km.
The recently-launched Vento AllStar is also packaged with leather seats, aluminium sports pedals, rear spoiler, black door stripes and trunk garnish, and the AllStar branding on its side scuff plates, emblems and carpet mats.
The Passat Comfortline and Trendline variants are each powered by a 1.8L turbocharged TSI engine with a seven-speed direct shift gearbox (DSG) to give an impressive output of 180PS and a torque of 250Nm between 1,250 to 5,000rpm, with an impressive fuel consumption of approximately 5.7l/100 km.
Features that make the Passat even more attractive include start/stop function, regenerative braking, electric parking brake with auto hold function and with three-zone climatronic air conditioning for comfort. Its high level of safety features includes six airbags, driver alert system and front fog lights with cornering light functions.
