Superbike rider dies in accident in Bentong

KUANTAN: A high-powered motorcycle rider was killed when his machine skidded at KM12.7 Jalan Genting Highlands-Kuala Lumpur at 12.45pm today.
Bentong Police chief Supt Mohamad Mansor Mohd Nor told Bernama that Lee Man Long, 43, from Bandar Puteri Puchong, died at the scene due to serious head injuries.
"The victim was riding alone on his MV Augusta S3 800 motorcycle from Genting Highlands to Kuala Lumpur.
"Upon arriving at the scene, his motorcycle went out of control, causing it to skid to the left side of the road and hit a stone embankment. His head was believed to have hit the wall hard," he said.
The victim's body was sent to the Bentong Hospital. — Bernama
