‘My Johor Stories’ launched

JOHOR BARU: Johor-born Peggy Loh had over the years heard a lot of stories, some of which inspired her to write about them.

So she decided to put pen to paper and came up with My Johor Stories.

Loh confessed that she had a passion for story telling and loved sharing her stories.

The book includes selected stories that are organised into several sections classified as Memories, Portraits and By the way.

She said Portraits features individuals whose lives and achievements had influenced others and By the way provides a glimpse into Johor's heritage.

"Tales in Memories carries tales during my grand parents era," she said of her 168-page book which was launched by Johor Baru MP Tan Sri Shahrir Samad on Saturday.
